Hi everyone. I love learning about school’s entrepreneur programs or student entrepreneurs that are successful. Two of these posts deal with students. The other is about Mediocrity in the startup. Hope you like them.

I read an article on www.Entrepreneur.com that talked about Stanford’s Entrepreneurship Corner. They offer free videos online. I watched the “The Scaling of Vision” talk by Sheryl Sandburg, Facebook’s COO. I liked the third video, Make It Personal and Make it Work, because I love innovative ideas. Hearing how companies like Google, Facebook, and Nike scaled their visions to become successful motivates me. I urge you to watch other videos on the website as well.

As I have said before, failure is necessary for entrepreneurs to learn and grow. The post “Failure Is Not The Worst Outcome, Mediocrity Is“. The post talks about the founder and CEO of Dropbox, Drew Houston, and thinking about mediocrity and your startup.

I found a short video from a Duke University student that runs his own business. “Bryan Silverman on the Advantages and Disadvantages of Starting Up in College“. For Entrepreneur Society students, or any students that are thinking about running their own business might like this.
